THE JOB

At Ladbrokes, it is a reality: the independent commission agent organizes his activities in the way he deems most appropriate in accordance with the contractual obligations set out in the commission contract.
The commission agent is above all a salesman who:
welcomes his customers in his clean, comfortable and tidy sales agency
attracts potential customers by an ideal arrangement of the marketing material provided free of charge
animates his point of sale by supporting the promotional offers proposed by Ladbrokes or made on the basis of his own ideas
Ensures customer loyalty by maintaining a relationship based on trust, service and mutual respect
Offers its regular customers new betting and winning options in the form of predictions and prize pools or examples of little-known bets
Maintains friendly relations with its neighbours and other local merchants, which are beneficial to the development of sales for everyone
THE PROCESS
… WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU FOR A FIRST INTERVIEW!
Do not hesitate to contact the sales manager in your region to make an appointment so that he/she can receive you in our offices to explain the commission agent job in detail and give you a copy of the commission contract.
In order to submit your application to the Management, he will ask you to put together a small file containing:
- A Curriculum Vitae
- The original copy of a recent certificate of good conduct (dated less than one month)
- A photocopy of both sides of your identity card (with a copy of the attached A4 document if it is an electronic card)
THE FAMILIARISATION
… WE TAKE CARE OF YOU!
To ensure your success, Ladbrokes offers you a comprehensive familiarisation with the day-to-day running of a retail agency, products, technology and sales techniques. This familiarisation can be done in two different ways, as you wish:
At the head office, in a room equipped like an agency and under the guidance of a professional training manager, during 9 working days from 10am to 4.30pm
OR
In an agency, with an experienced commission agent and according to a schedule adapted to your availability, for a minimum of 12 days.
The training courses are free of charge but not paid.
THE CONTACT
… YOU ARE IN THE STARTING BLOCKS!
After having been fully familiarised with the products and sales techniques, you are ready to take over the management of your agency. This is already possible within two weeks after your first meeting with the sales manager in your region!
In order to sign your contract as an independent commission agent, you must register with the company number.
Whether you register as a natural person or as a company, you must contact the company counter in your region.
The enterprise counter has a team of experts who will help and advise you in your efforts to become self-employed.
