A new wind is blowing through the international gaming world and that wind is called Entain. It doesn't seem that long ago that Ladbrokes Coral entered into a merger with the GVC Group, known for BWIN among others. But standing still in this fast paced and evolving sector isn't an option. On December 10, CEO Shay Segev announced that GVC Group is past tense and that we are now part of the largest gaming and betting group in the world with Ladbrokes Belgium: Entain Group.

With this new name, Entain underlines its steep international ambitions, which is based on 3 main pillars:

• Growth: In collaboration with local partners, Entain continues to gain market share in the newly opened markets in the United States, where we already have a presence in 12 different states, representing 75 million players whom we are happy to entertain in the most secure and innovative way.
• Innovation: The entire sports sector in all its facets is at the start of an era with limitless possibilities. Technological progress will provide a new, interactive way of how we live and live sports. Entain's goal is to help create a solid basis for these developments.
• People: Both growth and innovation can only be achieve when the people doing it are at the centre. Entain puts both its players and employees on the highest pedestal possible. For example, we collaborate with leading psychologists and Harvard University in the Advanced Responsibility & Care (ARC) program. Playing responsibly globally is the priority for our group. But also investing in society and sport is foreseen: in Germany, the US, the United Kingdom, Australia,... Entain invests extra budget in local projects that benefit the community. In Belgium too, we are moving up a gear with the relaunch of our own Ladbrokes Foundation!
